At the beginning of the 20th century, Italy is a very popular destination for thermal tourism.
Among the most beloved places, there is Salsomaggiore Terme with its elegant Art Nouveau buildings. Here Dr Pignacca's pharmacy sells beauty remedies to the European high-society and the tsars of Russia. Its flagship product is a petroleum-based hair lotion (made from local oil found by chance during the excavations for thermal water!)
In honor of those times, the company still produce some historical products like ACQUABELLA, a unique luxurious and hydrating toner for your skin.
The power of rose water has been used since the time of ancient Egypt to freshen and soothen sensible and delicate skin. It completes the cleaning cycle of the face, with particular attention to the area where dilated pores are present.
The Pignacca Family has combined rose water with glycerin to create a perfect harmony in a skin toner.
The wonderful packaging is original from 1940s.

How to use ACQUABELLA:
Moisten a wad of cotton with ACQUABELLA and pat it gently over the face and neck. Give particular attention to the contour of the eyes and the T-zone. Let dry.

All'inizio del '900 l'Italia è una destinazione imperdibile per gli amanti del turismo termale. Fra le località predilette c'è Salsomaggiore, con i suoi edifici in stile liberty.
Qui la farmacia del Dottor Pignacca ospita l'alta società europea e gli zar di Russia: il suo prodotto di punta è una lozione per capelli a base di petrolio (realizzata con il petrolio locale trovato per caso durante gli scavi per la ricerca di acqua termale!)
In onore di quei tempi, ancora oggi l'azienda conserva alcuni prodotti storici, come l'Acquabella, un tonico per il viso ai petali di rosa a bassa gradazione alcolica.
Acquabella ha una texture leggera e un profumo delicatamente avvolgente. E' il complemento ideale per la cura del viso: pulisce in profondità ed esplica un'azione astringente sui pori dilatati, lasciando la pelle morbida e idratata senza inaridirla. La meravigliosa confezione originale è realizzata senza interruzione dagli anni '40.

Come si usa:
Imbevete un batuffolo di cotone con ACQUABELLA e tamponatelo sul viso, con particolare attenzione per la zona T del viso.
Il prodotto non necessita di risciacquo.
