CALABRESELLA EAU DE COLOGNE

EN / IT

CALABRESELLA, EAU DE COLOGNE, TEDESCO PROFUMI, SINCE 1910

Calabresella is an eau de cologne distilled from the flowers of the citrus fruits of Calabria, considered among the finest in the world.
The dominant bouquet is made up of jasmine, bergamot and orange blossom. Vanilla-flavoured and persistent, the perfume was created in 1910 by Commendator Annunziato Tedesco, producer of perfumes, liqueurs and spirits, active since 1908 in San Giorgio Morgeto.
At the beginning of the twentieth century, its fame spread throughout the national territory. Among its admirers stands out Italian Queen Margherita who, by virtue of her love for this deep and velvety aroma, gives Annunziato Tedesco the royal coat of arms which still stands out on the packaging.
In a letter, Italian writer Gabriele D'Annunzio addresses Tedesco as "a companion in the love of perfume but a rival in distillation".

Today this precious fragment of Italian olfactory history has been rediscovered by the Carpentieri Profumi company which has relaunched the fragrance while maintaining the original formulation.

CALABRESELLA, ACQUA DI COLONIA, TEDESCO PROFUMI, SINCE 1910
