CYLINDRICAL COFFEE GRINDER, TRE SPADE, SINCE 1894

This manual coffee grinder was produced by Tre Spade for the Italian Army during the First World War: soldiers could bring it everywhere and use it as a portable mill.
Today it is still in production as a tribute to the past. Being very tough and compact, it is ideal for small places (studios, boats, cottages, camping) to be able to enjoy a freshly ground coffee in any situation.
The main quality of manual grinding is not to overheat the coffee beans, while preserving the aromatic bouquet at its best. It is very much appreciated by the lovers of Italian espresso's slow ritual.

MACINACAFFE' A CILINDRO, TRE SPADE, DAL 1894

Questo macinacaffè è stato prodotto da Tre Spade per l'esercito italiano durante la prima guerra mondiale: i soldati potevano portarlo ovunque e utilizzarlo come “mulino portatile” per macinare qualsiasi cosa, dai cereali al sale.
Oggi è ancora in produzione come omaggio al passato. Essendo molto resistente e compatto, è ideale per ambienti piccoli (monolocali, studi, barche, campeggio) per poter assaporare un caffè appena macinato in qualsiasi situazione. Il pregio della macinatura manuale infatti è di non surriscaldare i chicchi, preservandone al massimo il bouquet olfattivo. E' un oggetto in piena riscoperta per gli amanti del vero rito del caffè all'italiana.
