HAND MADE HARDCOVER NOTEBOOK, TASSOTTI, SINCE 1957

These wonderful hand-made notebooks are a little gem for graphics and illustration lovers. The patterns come from the Remondini's archive (a world-known family of illustrators during the 18th century). They represent pieces of tapestry, tiles and details from illustrated atlases. In 1957, Giorgio Tassotti rediscovers this extraordinary iconography and has been reprinting it since then. Every notebook is handmade by using the most precious paper (120 gr) for binding. Externally covered with decorated paper of 120 gsm, the same paper is also used for the endpapers. The high-quality paper make them ideal objects for writing and for drawing, since the pages are blank.

QUADERNO RILEGATO FATTO A MANO, TASSOTTI, DAL 1957

Questi splendidi quaderni sono una chicca per gli amanti della storia dell'illustrazione e della grafica. I motivi decorativi provengono dall'archivio Remondini (una famiglia di illustratori conosciuta in tutto il mondo nel '700) e rappresentano forme per pavimenti, fiori per tappezzerie, particolari per atlanti. Nel 1957 Giorgio Tassotti ha riscoperto questo patrimonio iconografico e da allora lo ristampa nella sua stamperia di Bassano del Grappa. Tutti i quaderni sono realizzati a mano e rivestiti internamente e nei risguardi. La carta interna è sbiancata naturalmente (per questo è color avorio).
L'alta qualità della carta, li rende oggetti perfetti per la scrittura, ma anche per il disegno, poiché le pagine interne sono bianche.
